A complimentary “Meet and Greet” is the first step toward peace of mind you receive by using Happy Dog Pet Sitters. A meet and greet is the initial visit that allows your pet to become familiar with your sitter. Your questions are answered, and information is exchanged to make your pet’s experience seamless and extremely fulfilling.
All Happy Dog Pet Sitters are insured and bonded for the protection of your home and pets.
Each pet sitter at Happy Dog Pet Sitters undergoes multiple interviews prior to joining our team as well as an extensive background check.
Happy Dog Pet Sitters will send text or email updates and pictures each visit, or at your specific request.
Happy Dog Pet Sitters requests two copies of your house keys before your first visit. This is usually done before your first pet visit. If you live in a gated community or security accessed apartment complex or building, arrangements must be made during initial meet and greet in order to allow Happy Dog Pet Sitters access to your community and home.
Happy Dog Pet Sitters can administer basic medication to your pet. This service can be discussed upon request.
Cancellation policy is because our pet sitters carefully schedule their time to accommodate the pets in their care, and because their schedules are sometimes completely full, we require 24 hours notice for (non-holiday) cancellations. Holiday week cancellations: full refund if cancelled 30 days in advance. A 50% credit toward future services if cancelled at least two weeks but less than 30 days in advance. No refund or credit if cancelled less than two weeks before the beginning of service. Please remember that we are sometimes booked months in advance for holidays and availability is limited or not available for last minute scheduling for holidays. We sometimes have to turn down other pet parents, and sitters often give up plans with friends and family to care for your pets.
Happy Dog Pet Sitters does not keep your payment information at any time. This information is protected by a state-of-the-art data center by our online scheduling application, TimeToPet. Only authorized personnel and you can see your information. Access is available only to users with TimeToPet usernames and passwords. All communication between TimeToPet and the browser on your computer or smartphone is encrypted using SSL.
Happy Dog Pet Sitters understands that your dog may be protective of your home. While this is part of the reason for the initial meet and greet, a full disclosure is required to avoid any risk or danger involved in the care of your dog. If it is determined that your dog is displaying aggressive behavior towards the sitter that cannot be resolved, for the safety of your pet and our sitters unfortunately we have to decline the opportunity to provide care for your dog.
